Stories
Stories are enfleshments of life.
Some stories are epic and some are microscopic. Some stories are lush in description and some are laconic. Some stories are lucid in meaning and some are opaque. Yet stories—with the same fundamental components of plot, characterization, and setting—invite us into particular experiences of life, and people, and notions about it all.
Stories can imbibe us with passion.
Stories can rouse revulsion, laughter,
and delight.
Stories can hold us back and set us loose.
Stories can rebuke us, wound us, heal us, teach us, and call us beyond ourselves.
The links below are invitations into life, lived out in worlds, that I have had the felicity to create.
